SONOMA COUNTY EVENTS

A brand-new program that gives both Sonoma County visitors and local residents the chance to take a shelter dog out for a day of fun and adventure! This gives our pups a much-needed break from the shelter, and also helps us learn more about their personalities, making it easier to find their perfect forever home 

Leading up to the 2026 Spring Lake Water Bark and in celebration of 60+ dog-friendly Sonoma County Regional Parks, the Sonoma County Parks Foundation is hosting our  3rd annual summer 2026 Top Dog photo contest as a fundraiser to benefit Regional Parks. Two winning dogs will be selected as "Top Dog"
