Send us a message via our website's contact page. We will make every effort to accommodate your request. However, last minute reservations cannot be guaranteed.

With a few exceptions, we will be glad to care for most pets. Exceptions are on a case by case basis and depend on the type and temperament of the pet.

We are available to respond to your inquiries 7am to 10pm, 7 days a week. But you may leave a message outside of our hours of operation and we will respond ASAP

We do not currently offer boarding services. Please ask us about how in-home pet care is the stress-free, worry-free alternative!

We require 24-hour notice for cancellations. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance may be subject to a fee.

We care for dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, fish, reptiles,  other small caged animals and exotics. Don't see your pet, please ask!

We take reservations as far out as you want to make them. Since spring and summertime as well as all major holidays book up quickly, it is best to make reservations as soon as you can. We cannot guarantee service for last-minute reservations.

Yes. We will make every effort to accommodate your changes.

Your payment can be made either before scheduled service begins or after you return. Payment is due in full no later than 10 days after the completion of your service or on the 15th of the month for those clients on monthly billing.

We accept cash, personal checks and all major credit cards. Payments can also be arranged through PayPal or Venmo.

No. Unlike some pet care companies, we do not require payment in advance. Our payment terms are flexible where possible. Deposits are only required for lengthy services in excess of 10 days.

Not a problem! We will simply continue service until you notify us of your return.

We offer a 10% discount for first-time clients, as well as  special pricing for long-term stays. Please see our pricing page for more information. We also offer 20% seasonal and special occasion discounts which can be found on our Home page.

The Friendly Pet Sitter has a fully-fledged and 100% proven backup plan ready for any unexpected events. If something happens to overly delay or prevent our visit, an automatic text goes out to our many emergency backup pet sitters. These include other established pet sitters in your area. We will alert you if this should happen.

If something happens to your pets, we will contact you and your vet according to your protocols.

If something happens to your home, you can be sure we will contact you immediately.

During our initial consultation we will also ask that you have an emergency backup plan in place which, where possible, should include a neighbor or friend that can visit in our place during severe weather emergencies.

Our initial consultation is scheduled with Laura, owner operator of The Friendly Pet Sitter. This is our Meet and Greet where we will get to know each other, find out if we are a good fit, collect information about your home and pets, and get you signed up with our company. All for free! Most pet sitters offer "Industry Standard" 20 to 30-minute visits. The Friendly Pet Sitter is unique in that we offer 45-minute guaranteed visits, which allows us more time to relax during our visits and get to know your pets without the need to rush through.

However, for those clients who prefer a shorter duration, we can arrange that no problem.

We offer several options for dog walking that do not follow the same pet sitting guarantee. Rather, we have tiered options from a 15-minute drop-in playtime to 60-minute park trips and everything in between. Like all of our services, dog walks are fully customizable to suit you and your k9 besties.
